Urban Roots LOVES to give back, which is why we’ve made this an easy guide for you to submit your donation request. We receive an incredibly high number of requests, and are unfortunately unable to respond to everyone.

We will use the guidelines below to consider each request that comes in, but will only respond to those we are able to accommodate. We appreciate your understanding.

What can Urban Roots donate?... Fantastic question. 

  • BEER! We LOVE to donate canned beer and often fulfill this type of request. Let us know what style you’re interested in and we’ll see about getting you cans of beer for your upcoming event. Due to the constant rotation, we might not always have your specific requests available.

DISCLAIMER: We must receive a 1 day ABC license for the event that contains the organization’s name and tax ID. We also require a copy of the IRS determination letter for the organization. We must receive both of these documents before a pick up can be scheduled. 

When donation requests come in we look for these key points: 

  • Can we fulfill your donation request (see above for what we can donate)

  • Do we have at least 10 business days to fulfill your request?

  • Do we have the product you're requesting in stock? 

  • Does your organization align with our values as a company?

How to request a donation?

  1. Fill out the form below for all donations 

  2. The first week of every month we choose which donations to fulfill. 

  3. Whichever organizations are chosen will hear from us by the end of the first full week of the month. 

  4. Due to the amount of donation requests we receive, we cannot respond to everyone. If you do not hear from us, we apologize, and we hope we can fulfill your request next time! 

Limitations to consider in your request

  • We legally cannot host or donate to any raffles, silent auctions, or anything that can resemble gambling

  • We legally cannot provide gift cards or portions of our sales towards a donation; we also  cannot accrue donations via our point of sales registers

  • We can not host tastings or provide tours of the brewery
